PartnerUp

When you create an account and use PartnerUp, we collect:

• Account data — email address and password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
• Profile data — name, age, gender, city/country, skill level, preferred sports, photos, and bio
• Preference data — availability, partner preferences, session preferences
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, last active date
• Device data — device type and browser, collected automatically by Firebase Analytics
• Communications — messages sent within the app

• To match you with compatible sports partners and coaches
• To display your public profile to other users
• To send you in-app notifications about matches and messages
• To improve the app through aggregated, anonymized analytics
• To detect and prevent abuse or violations of our terms

We use the following third-party services that process your data on our behalf:

• Firebase / Google — authentication, database, file storage, analytics, and push notifications. Your data is stored in Google's infrastructure. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com.
• Google Maps — used to suggest venue locations when setting up your profile. Only your search input is sent to Google.

We do not sell your name, email, or any directly identifiable information to third parties.

We may use aggregated, anonymized data (e.g. how many users are in a given country, skill level distribution) for internal product research and, in the future, may share or license such data to third parties. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

You can opt in to this use during registration. You may withdraw your consent at any time in Settings → Privacy.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile and personal data are removed within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
• Request a copy of your data (data portability)

We use a session cookie (partnerup-session) to keep you logged in. Firebase Analytics uses additional cookies and device identifiers for usage tracking. By creating an account and accepting this policy, you consent to this use.

PartnerUp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you in-app when significant changes are made. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
